Introduction

Solvent Violet 13 is a premium oil-soluble dye designed for engineering plastics and polyester dope dyeing. While insoluble in water, it dissolves easily in benzene, xylene, DMF, and other organic media, delivering stable and vibrant coloration. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears dark green, turning olive upon dilution and forming a reddish-blue precipitate—an indication of its distinctive chemical behavior. With excellent dispersion and thermal stability in PS, ABS, and rigid PVC, it is an ideal choice for high-end plastic coloration.
