Introduction

Solvent Red 24 is a high-performance solvent dye presented as a red powder. It is insoluble in water but exhibits excellent solubility in ethanol, acetone, and benzene. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it appears bluish green and produces a red precipitate upon dilution. With strong tinting strength and good compatibility, Solvent Red 24 is widely used in cellulose acetate, PMMA, ABS, rigid PVC, and other engineering plastics. It is also suitable for coatings, ball-pen inks, and polyester fiber dyeing applications.
