Introduction

Pigment Red 176 (C.I. 12515; CAS 12225-06-8) is a high-performance benzimidazolone pigment, featuring a vivid bluish-red shade with a hue angle of 2.1° (1/3 SD, HDPE), pure and saturated color, excellent color strength, and only slightly yellowish than C.I. Pigment Red 185; it has a lightfastness of grade 6-7 (1/3 SD), heat resistance up to 200℃ in flexible PVC and 300℃/1min in polypropylene dope dyeing, with good migration, solvent, acid and alkali resistance, and wide compatibility, widely used in cables, synthetic leather, plastic dope, laminated film decorative inks and other scenarios requiring durable colors.
