Every monthly sharing session at Fineland Chem offers an opportunity for colleagues to relax, connect, and learn together. Although this session was held slightly later than usual, it continued our tradition of combining enjoyable activities with meaningful interaction. Alongside fresh fruit, snacks, and drinks, this month’s highlight was a lively knowledge quiz competition that brought together curiosity, teamwork, and friendly rivalry.
A Quiz Game That Tested Knowledge Across Multiple Topics
The centerpiece of this month’s sharing session was a quiz game hosted by one of our colleagues, who carefully prepared several hundred question cards covering a wide range of subjects. The questions spanned astronomy, geography, mathematics, science, daily life, safety, literature, and history, making every round both challenging and educational.
Each of the 16 participants randomly drew 12 question cards, each containing both a question and its answer. After selecting eight cards to form their hand, competitors took turns asking questions to their opponents. Correct answers earned valuable points, while tied matches proceeded to exciting tie-breaker rounds.
The tournament followed a knockout format, progressing through the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final before ultimately crowning David as the champion. While every participant received a prize in the form of a red envelope prepared by the host, the champion earned the biggest reward in recognition of his excellent performance.
Friendly Competition and Team Engagement
Although only two participants competed in each match, the atmosphere involved everyone in the room. As each question was asked, colleagues watching the competition often found themselves thinking about the answers as well, turning every round into a shared learning experience rather than simply a contest.
The quiz covered familiar topics as well as unexpected areas of knowledge, leading to moments of surprise, discussion, and laughter. Some questions could be answered immediately, while others encouraged participants to think carefully or learn something completely new.
The combination of friendly competition and active audience participation made the event engaging from beginning to end. Conversations continued between rounds as colleagues shared interesting facts, compared answers, and exchanged ideas, creating an enjoyable environment where learning happened naturally.
