Pigment Orange 43 offers excellent light and weather fastness (Grade 7–8). It is suitable for coloring acrylic fiber (PAN) solutions used in tarpaulins, tents, and awnings. The pigment performs well in transparent polystyrene, where it imparts a yellowish hue, and is soluble in thermoplastic polyester. In coatings, it can be blended with aluminum paste to produce a metallic luster. Additionally, it shows outstanding acid and alkali resistance, making it ideal for outdoor latex paint applications.
