Introduction

Pigment Red 254 is a high-performance quinacridone organic pigment. Launched in 1986 as the first DPP pigment, it boasts outstanding performance.

It shows neutral red hue, with lightfastness up to Grade 8. At 1/3 SD concentration in HDPE, it resists 300℃ for 5min. It has excellent solvent/chemical resistance and high color strength, achieving ideal effects with small addition.

Widely used in automotive base coats, refinish coatings, powder coatings, and coloring PVC, PS, polyolefins. Flocculation improves with additives; blending with specific pigments reduces cost or creates opaque blue-light red.
